We sit and watch the fires burn and talk about the years that passed.
We raise our glasses into the air and sing the songs that made us who we are. We share the stories of summer nights when all we did was chase the stars. Do you remember the year Chris died? It changed it our lives.

But this goes down tonight till we break. Until the morning no more last goodbyes. No regrets, no second chance so you’ll never wonder. Why we never let these moments pass us by. Till the sun comes up and lights the sky cause this goes down tonight.

We never thought that the years would pass and chase away our dreams so fast. A million memories of waking up with heavy heads from sleeping on the floor. I still carry the picture from the evening that we made our vow. To live each day like it was our last and remember the past.

While staring out the window and chasing life away. It kills me just to know that life will never be the same. While standing in the water and searching for the truth. We find ourselves united by the friendships of our youth. As smoke pours from the ashes and carries us away. Our hope grows from the knowledge that we’ll meet again someday. We’ll meet again someday.
